About us

BHG is a hockey training company which focuses on working with high level hockey players. We emphasize our work on helping our players improve their on ice awareness, learn to protect themselves to minimize risk of injury, and improve their fundamental skills which will help them in games. Skates are held at both the Rosemount Ice Arena and the Cottage Grove Ice Arena and include high level drills along with small area games.

We also offer a subscription based video program that allows subscribers to watch broken down videos from around the hockey world. These videos will help players add small details to their game that allow them to get to the next level.

Why BHG?

We prioritize small group sessions which allows every player to get enough reps during each of our skates. Along with small group sessions, we also ensure that every skate is competitive by making each skate invite only. This allows us to have similar, high level, skill groups in each skate which leads to a high sense of flow and competitiveness throughout every drill. We design all of our skates to simulate game-like situations that require players to constantly think while also working on fundamental skills that a high level player must possess. Our small group/high level model allows our players to maximize their performance and separate themselves from others. Along with our high level skates, we will be having guest speakers, skaters, and mentors throughout the summer session. These guests will focus on topics such as nutrition, recovery, and additional skills training.
